The State of Ohio honors the 501C3 Federal tax exempt status. If you have that all you need is to fill out the Sales and Use Tax Blanket Exemption Certificate, It can be found here. Any vendor(hotel) must have this form filled out for you to get tax exempt status here in Ohio.

If the above link does not work you can find the form online at the Ohio Department of Taxation. Click on Tax Forms then in the Tax Type drop down menu select Sales & Use Tax, (near the bottom) hit search. Look for form number STEC B and select it. You want to open it in a program that will allow you to print if off.
